STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO ACTIVATING THE EGYM BRIDGE - XPLOR GYM

Step 1 - Provide Xplor Gym with authorisation to share data.

This authorisation to share Xplor Gym data is attached to this article. During integration, Egym will retrieve information such as the member's surname, first name and membership.

The disclaimer must then be completed and signed by the club or franchise manager . It should then be returned to your Xplor Gym advisor.

Step 2 - Transmit information from Egym to Xplor Gym.

• Egym sends you an ApiKey that looks like this: eXHCeZ4UNsqH7zFzVlmtJaQ3FI3g6XUL. You then need to send it to Xplor Gym. You should also ask them for the Egym GymID and the club details (name, town, email) to create the test customer file. Then send this information to your Xplor gym advisor.
• Indicate whether you are going to use the link with the Egym machines or the Egym planning (or both!). This will tell us what to activate.

Step 3 - Determine the activation strategy for dormant clients.

Perhaps you don't want dormant clients to receive an Egym activation email. Let us know if you would like all clients to be activated by default OR if they will be activated "manually", on a case-by-case basis. In fact, you will always be able to activate the Egym client account manually if necessary.

RESOLVING THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Were you already using Egym before Xplor Gym?

Nothing special to do. The data is automatically "adjusted" as required by Egym with the integration of Xplor Gym. No need to ask for accounts to be deleted and recreated.

What enables a client to be synchronised with Egym?

You don't need to have started your membership to be synchronised, you just need to be listed in the Xplor Gym client database. Only active members are synchronised! (not prospects or former members).
