How to define a fixed sales period for a membership?

Restricting the validity period allows you to define the period during which the offer is published in the back office sales tunnel or online. Before and after this period, the offer is not available for sale. This feature allows you to highlight flash offers that are limited to a certain period, such as the festive season.

Setting membership start and end dates: another feature💡

Another feature allows you to set fixed start and end dates for the membership. This is not the same feature. If you'd like to know how to set membership start and end dates, see this other article.

Once you have created a membership, go to the Catalogue, select the membership and then the tariff for which you want to define a validity period. Then click on the three small dots in the tariff and on ‘Restrict by period of validity’.

New configuration fields are then displayed. We're going to define two things here:

  • The period (including start and end dates) over which the offer will be made visible in the back office sales tunnel and online, depending on the channels you have set up.
  • The criterion for the start date: must it be between the two dates? If so, tick the box.
