Once you defined the template and chose the email, the SMS or the notification recipients, you’ll be redirected to the screen from which you’ll be able to generate the template.
STEP 2.1: CHOOSE THE CAMPAIGN TEMPLATE
YOUR CAMPAIGN BY EMAIL
Click on Choose a template.
2 or 4 templates are suggested:
- the ready-to-use Resamania template: the template is pre-designed but you can edit the text or format to make the job easier.
- (if you implemented it) the editable Resamania template: the template is pre-designed by the club or the headquarters and may be used as many times as needed. To learn how to implement this kind of template, please read this article.
- (for some campaigns) the ready-to-use Resamania template: there is nothing left to do, the template is already pre-designed with all the necessary information.
- “import a template”: you may import a html communication template.
For certain campaigns, only the common html templates may be suggested.
YOUR CAMPAIGN BY NOTIFICATION
You can choose the template.
Two types of templates are suggested:
-"Import a template": you can import communication templates already configured (HTML)
-"Choose a generic Resamania template": this template is formated but empty, you can provide a subject and add a text.
STEP 2.2: FORMAT THE TEMPLATE

See below examples of each template you may choose.
- If you choose the pre-designed template:
All you have to do is select the pre-designed template. You can’t modify the shape and body of the template. Please click on Save if it suits you.
- If you choose the generic template:
Please click on the common template you want. The format and text window opens. You may modify as you see fit. The window is very similar to an email/word processing program. Pictograms are quite obvious.
For example:
Enables you to add a picture from your computer.
Enables you to create a chart in the body of the email.
Enables you to add a hyperlink from the body of the email.
Enable you to put in bold or italic letters and cross out.
Enables you to colour text.
- If you choose to import a template
Please click on “Import a template”, you may open folders from your computer and download your html file.
ABOUT TAGS
When creating communication templates, you may integrate and collect information about the member.
You may also integrate links to various operations in Resamania or to a specific part of the application, (booking site, link to generate a password) so as to guide the member.
These fields are tags and they become available as soon as a common communication template is created. Tags are related to the client's information (surname, first name, direct debit mandates...), to the club or to some situations (activity, hours, etc).
When integrating a tag, the latter displays in the email window as exampled below:
When a member receives their email, they will read their name in the body of the email.
Once the template is properly generated, please click on Save, then you can Test the campaign.
YOUR CAMPAIGN BY NOTIFICATION
- If you choose the generic Resamania template:
this screen opens on the format. You can provide a subject and write you message. Creating a message is the same as for an email. You can use pictograms and tags.
- If you choose to import a template
Click on 'Import a template' then on 'Choose a file' which opens your computer files ; then you can download your HTML file.
STEP 2.3: TEST YOUR TEMPLATE
Click on Test:
This window opens:
Specifiy which email you wish to receive as a “test” as well as the sender’s club.
You opened your email inbox, the message and format suit you, click on “Schedule the campaign”.
Good to know
The SMS test campaign does not include STOPSMS. Actually, as it is a test, this is normal.
What about the Opt-Out SMS?
The Opt-Out SMS, that is to say Stop SMS, is the possibility to block incoming SMS on a mobile phone number.
How does the Opt-Out SMS work?
- When a client applies Stop SMS on her/his mobile phone number, if his number is saved on another member file, Stop SMS still works.
- If the client joins another club, so another token, Stop SMS will still be taken into account.
GOOD TO KNOW
On the automated campaign dashboard, that is to say the list of created automated campaigns which is displayed in the main screen when you open the tab 'Automated campaigns', you can see on which network node each campaign is positioned and which user has created it. The advantage is to easily find out the position of a campaign on the network, and of course, if you cannot find a campaign, check the node.
