This article explains how to assign an Entry Pass (RFID or QR code) to a member. This can be done at the time of sale or later, from the member file.
Prerequisite 💡
- To assign an RFID Entry Pass, either during a sale or directly on the member file, your RFID assignor (yoyo) must be connected to your computer's USB port. If it is properly connected, it should be flashing (blue lights).
- If you have subscribed to the ‘QR codes’ mode, there will be two allocation methods: automated or manual. In this article, we explain the manual method via the member file.
To sell an RFID Entry Pass from the member file...
- Select the Entry Pass in the product catalogue.
- Position the cursor in the entry pass number field.
- Swipe a virgin entry pass on the reader.
- Once the entry pass number entered in the field, click on 'Add'.
- Complete the sale.
To sell a QR Code from the member file...
- Select the QR Code in the product catalogue.
- Complete the sale.
- The QR Code is assigned.
To find a member's Entry Pass or add a new one...
Go to the Member file > Three dots > Entry Passes
Here you can see the member's Entry Passes (RFID or QR codes) and you can add another one if needed.
The QR code is added instantly by clicking on the ‘Add QR code’ button, while the Entry Pass opens in a window with a field for encoding the entry pass using the yoyo as for sales:
- Place the cursor on the entry pass number field
- Swipe a virgin entry pass on the reader
- Once the entry pass number is entered in the field, click on 'Add'
