You can send communications to a member from their member file. This action may be carried out through another action (allocating a goodwill gesture, cancelling a membership) or in a standard fashion (from Clients actions then Communicate). Please find below how to implement this kind of communication.
CAUTION
Please use this feature carefully. Please stick to the content of this article, for the Communications tab in the back office may have a strong impact when the configuration by default gets activated. To be able to use it, please reach our customer service as the Communication tab is not activated by default.
Good to know
This feature should not be confused with Smartmessaging, the communications module that lets you send automated and one-off campaigns.
STEP 1: CONFIGURE THE EMAIL/SMS TEMPLATE TO SEND
- Settings > Communication > Templates > New Email/SMS template
2. Fill in the first window of the template.
If you want the email to appear when clicking on “Communicate” from the member file, then the tag does not matter.
The tag only matters if you want to find an email template following a cancellation. In such case, fill in “résiliation”. Similarly, please fill in “geste commercial" if you want to find the tag following a goodwill gesture.
3. Fill in the template.
You must always provide the email address no-reply@technical.resamania.com.
This window enables you to create the body of the email. Tags are available in the top right-hand corner. You simply have to fill in the subject line and body of the text.
STEP 2: SEND THE EMAIL/SMS TO A MEMBER
Member file > Clients actions > Communicate > Email
To activate SMS from the back office (outside Smartmessaging)
Go to Settings > Communications > SMS credit > Purchase a pack > the pack will be invoiced at the end of the month.
