Conditions for shifting a membership☑️

It is possible to shift a membership (i.e. change its start date and move it into the future) if and only if certain conditions are met. 
 

In the case of a Direct Debit membership…

It is possible to shift a Direct Debit membership if...

it hasn't started yet

it has started but there has not yet been a recorded entry for the member.

 

But it is not possible to shift a Direct Debit membership if...

❌a start date is set earlier than today (shift to set the start date in the past)

if the membership has been suspended or cancelled in the past

❌if it is a fixed-term contract ending in less than one month. 

 

In the case of a membership in full...

✅It is always possible to shift a membership in full. 

Except if…

❌a start date is set earlier than today (shift to set the start date in the past)

❌it ends in less than one month.
