How to ban a member ?

The feature 'Ban a member' enables to move a member to the status 'Banned member', to block any selling possibility to this client and potentially, prevent this member from going through the access control. Be careful, however, banning will not lead to the accounting closing of the member's account, if you wish to close the member file, please read this article.

WHICH IMPACTS ?

In any case, at the end of the banning, the member immediately moves to the status 'Banned member', you cannot sell them anything. However, the memberships will not be impacted. To deactivate them, a closing is required. Moreover, the access control can also be blocked.

STEP 1 - MEMBER FILE > BAN THE MEMBER

From the member file, please click on 'Member actions' then 'Ban the member'.

STEP 2 - INDICATE WHETHER THE MEMBER IS BLOCKED OR NOT AT THE ACCESS CONTROL

So as to block the member at the access control, please tick the box. Then, click on Confirm.

Then the member is banned :

The impact on this member file is a member who is now a 'Banned member'.
