According to the case you are in, removing a class can be used in different ways. In this article, refer to the case you wish to follow.
CASE # 1 - REMOVE A CLASS & COMMUNICATE WITH PARTICIPANTS
STEP 1 - REMOVE A CLASS
To remove a class, go to Planning then click on the time slot of this class and on 'Remove the class'.
STEP 2 - COMMUNICATE WITH MEMBERS
A message is displayed : you can decide to inform or not the participants to the class by ticking the box 'Notify participants of cancellation'.
It is possible to change the message if needed.
Then click on Confirm. The class will be cancelled and the information about the class will be communicated to the participants.
CASE # 2 - REMOVE SEVERAL CLASSES AT THE SAME TIME
You just have to juggle with filters in the planning to make all the classes you wish to cancel, appear. After that, click on Cancel.
In that case, once again, you can communicate to members. A warning message will be displayed at the communication step and will say that if the member is booked several times, you will send her/him as many messages as there are classes s/he has booked for.
CASE #3 - CASE OF RECURRENT CLASSES
'Remove recurrence' enables to either:
1) cancel the link between the different classes initially created with recurrence to manage them one by one. For that, after clicking on the button 'Remove recurrence', dates of recurrent classes are suggested, so untick those that you do not want to remove. The classes will stay on the planning, but will be managed one by one.
or
2) cancel the classes with recurrence when you keep the boxes ticked on the next step providing that those have not had any participants so far. If some participants are booked for the recurrent classes that you want to remove, then remove those classes manually and one by one.
CASE # 4 - REMOVE THE CLASSES ISSUED FROM A RECURRENCE AFTER A CERTAIN DATE
For that, click on a recurrent time slot of the class and go to the tab Recurrence.
Then change the date of the recurrence.
