April Release

Member Referral Phase 1

Listening to industry feedback, we noted the opportunity gyms have with referral programs and the revenue it provides them. This is why one of Resamania's key roadmap items for 2022 was the addition of a Member Referral feature. Phase 1 of this priority feature provides a manual process to member referral.

Members/Prospects can be linked together through the Member Referral tab in the member file and have goodwill gestures assigned based on the promotion you wish to offer. This linking can be automated using the member referral code found in the online member area.

The progress of referrals can then be tracked through the Member Referrals tab in the Members section of back office.

For more information about this fantastic new feature, please visit the Member Referral article in the help centre.

Note: Phase 2 coming shortly will allow this whole process to be automated.

Online Consent Form

For customers wanting members to agree to a health declaration during the online joining process, this is now available by request through to the support team.

Once configured, the online joining portal provides a link followed by a tick box where a member must agree to a health declaration.

If you require this activating, please contact Support, providing them with the URL of where your health declaration is stored.

Improved Termination Screen

One import aspect of software development is analysing the support tickets and understanding where improvements can be made through the eyes of the users. This is one of those instances, as we saw a number of issues being reported due to the user interface not being clear enough. Consequently, when cancelling a membership now, it has been made clearer regarding the financial state and cancelling any future invoice.

3rd Party synchronisation push

For those Customers who have a member integration with Technogym, EGYM or Virtuagym, we have now provided a button to force the synchronisation of data. This is no reflection on the quality of the existing integration, but because we found instances where data was appropriately not syncing and wished to be. For example, when a member joins with a future join date but still wanted access to the 3rd party portal.

This forced sync button can be found in the "Partners" section of the Smartview tab on the member file.

Member area login screen welcome message

It is now possible to provide a different welcome message to members depending on the club they are from. This is configured on the Welcome Screen tab of the Customisation section of Settings. You can also configure the message in different languages (English, French, Spanish, Catalan and Dutch) so that it adapts to the language of the browser being used.

Member Notifications Phase 1

When we are developing software at the pace Resamania does. We can sometimes fail to keep you the users updated with all the changes going on. You may have noticed the notification button appear on your software. This is the first phase of improving that communication with you. We want to make sure all users are notified of important changes within Resamania, so you don't miss a thing.

Over the coming months we will be introducing the functionality to notify users of new features and making Release Notes directly accessible from the notification tab.

Access control displays on the public and club screens

Historically, the picture and details of members who accessed all zones was presented on the public and club access control screens. However, it was acknowledged that some clubs don't need to have members appearing on Reception screens when they have already access the club. In busy footfall clubs, they may just wish to have Reception access highlighted.

Redirection to the member area shop

To encourage upsell of secondary spend activities, it is now possible to send a member directly to the online shop if they try booking into an activity that requires a specific package. For example, Personal Training which requires a pack of PT sessions to be purchased, can prompt the member to the shop when they attempt to book in.
