Everything about special offer codes !🔍

From Xplor Gym, you can generate special offer codes for members to be ued from the back-office or online. This article explains how to do.

STEP 1 - ADD A SPECIAL OFFER CAMPAIGN AND FILL IN THE MAIN INFORMATION 

• From the menu Settings > Special Offers click on Add special offer. 
• Next, name the offer (internal name), specify the public name of the offer (marketing name of your offer) and the keyword linked with this offer.
• If a member uses a special offer code, its keyword will be on the member file as a tag.

STEP 2 - CHOOSE THE TYPE OF SPECIAL OFFER 

Go to the Special Offer tab and select the type of offer.

Among the possibilities, the special offer can ...

• Add a discount on a pack: this enables to determine a discount applicable when selling a pack. 

• Extend the membership (and choose how many months you want to add) 

• Add a discount on the basket amount related to a membership: if a membership is in the basket, a discount can be applied on the basket amount and you can choose how much will be deducted from the membership price and from its admin fees.

• Offer one month: this type of offer enables to offer one membership month which would normally be charged. 

Using the first month free

The first month free ...

... only concerns memberships but not related bolt-ons.

... only concerns a full month but not pro rate.

... only concerns memberships with a price of the full month higher than £0

... can concern a special offer period if there is one.

Be careful when shifting a membership after the sale if the discount concerns the 1st Direct Debit. 

The Special Offer 1st month free can be limited to one client or valid for all clients ! In the case it is valid for all clients, communicating about it via your emails and SMS from Smartmessaging can be a great idea.

For the example of this current article, we are going to offer one month.

STEP  3 - ADD THE CODE AND THE CODE INFORMATION 

Click on + Add a code: 

Next, fill in the following information: 

• The code is the one the client will give to the club to have the special offer applied. 
• The maximum usage is the total possible number of uses of this special offer code. 
• 'Valid from'/'until' enable to specify the period when the code can be used.  

From the three dots, restrictions can be determined on this code: 

Indeed, the special offer code can be associated to a specific member, to an offer or according to products. Or, it can be made valid for all.

Once the special offer code configured, you can click on Save. 

HOW DOES THE MEMBER USE THE SPECIAL OFFER CODE?

From the back office, the client can give the special offer code to the club desk to have it applied on the sale.

From the member area, either when selecting the product into the cart...
