  • Open Console Google Play in a new tab.
  • On the homepage, copy the address of your application.

  • Paste the address you just copied into Package Name in the Google Maps configuration tab.

  • Now click on the application whose address you just copied, then go to Test and publish > Setup > App signing.
  • Locate the SHA-1 certificate fingerprint line and click the copy icon at the end of the line to copy its value.

  • Paste the copied fingerprint into the Google Maps configuration tab, then click Done to finalize the key creation.

  • Now that your key has been created, on the Keys and IDs page, click Show key at the end of the line.

  • Copy the API key and send it to us by email.
  • Also check that Maps SDK for Android is activated on your account. (To find it, use the same method you used to locate the Places API).
