Using the “Recurring Classes” tab effectively

In Resamania, the Management > Clients > Recurring Classes tab is a valuable tool for organising your schedule… provided you clearly understand what it allows you (and does not allow you) to do.

Below are some tips to help you use it effectively and avoid the most common sources of confusion.

🎯What is the “Recurring Classes” tab really for?

The Recurring Classes tab provides an overall view of recurring class time slots:

  • weekly classes,
  • activities scheduled over a given period (season, year, term),
  • capacity and availability per time slot.

Good to know

This screen is primarily a schedule and capacity management tool, not a tool for individual client tracking.

🔎What you see on screen

Each row corresponds to a specific recurring class, defined by:

  • an activity,
  • a day and time,
  • a club,
  • a recurrence period (start and end dates),
  • a number of available places,
  • a number of remaining sessions.

💡 Tip

The number of remaining sessions refers to the class as a whole, not to a client’s booking period or access rights.

👉🏽Understanding the filters

RE2.png

The filters available in this tab allow you to filter only by:

  • activity,
  • club,
  • place availability,
  • day or time,
  • the class recurrence period.

⚠️ Important

All filters apply to the recurring class.
They never apply to a client, an individual booking, a membership, or a contract.

🚫Not to be confused with…

❌ Do not confuse with

  • Memberships
Memberships are used to manage client contracts, their start and end dates, and renewals.
  • Client bookings for a class
The “Recurring Classes” tab does not list registered clients, only time slots and their capacities.
  • Key indicators (KPIs)
Indicators such as expiring memberships rely on specific business rules that are not visible on this screen.

👉 The Recurring Classes tab does not allow you to analyse the member lifecycle.

Best practices

  • Use the Recurring Classes tab to:
    • anticipate fully booked classes,
    • adjust capacities,
    • optimise the seasonal schedule.
  • Use other screens to:
    • track contracts and their expiry dates,
    • contact clients at the right time,
    • manage commercial activity.

Key takeaway

Recurring Classes = schedule and capacity.
Clients and memberships = tracking and analysis.

By using each tool for its intended purpose, you gain clarity… and improve day-to-day efficiency.
